Don't cut too high up when making the cheese broom. About halfway up will do.

You don't need to use mozzarella cheese sticks for this recipe. Cheddar, Colby, Jack, and Swiss will be just as delicious. Use your favorite type of cheese stick or make witches broomsticks with various cheeses.

How to Make Witches Broomsticks

Take one half of a cheese stick. Using a knife, make small slices about halfway up the cheese stick.

Gently pull the pieces away to make a broom effect. Take a toothpick and make a hole in the top of the cheese stick. Gently but firmly press a pretzel stick into the hole.

Wrap a chive around the top of a cheese stick, then secure with a knot.

Repeat with remaining cheese, pretzels, and chives. Serve and enjoy!
