The white chocolate ganache is a variation of the classic dark chocolate ganache. It is a dense, smooth chocolate texture that can be either enjoyed on its own or to garnish desserts, cakes and cupcakes, or to create chocolate truffles. It is very easy to make: you will just need to combine the chocolate with the warm whipped cream and mix thoroughly.

Once cooled, you’ll work on the mixture with an electric whisk until fluffy and smooth. While the original version is characterized by its bitter aftertaste, this white chocolate ganache is definitely sweeter. You can also use this ganache to garnish other desserts, whether homemade or store-bought, or to create new desserts altogether.

Find out how to prepare the perfect ganache by following this recipe step by step.

How to store White Chocolate Ganache

You can wrap the white chocolate ganache in cling film and store for 3-4 days.

Ingredients

White chocolate
400 g (2 1/2 cups)
Fresh cream
300 ml (1 1/4 cups)

How to make White Chocolate Ganache

Ground the white chocolate finely 1.

Pour the fresh cream in a saucepan 2 and bring to a boil.

Add the white chocolate 3.

Combine thoroughly with a whisk 4.

You should obtain a smooth cream without any lumps 5.

Pour into a bowl and let it cool at room temperature. Now you can use it to garnish a dessert, otherwise cover with cling film 6 and store in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes until you need it.

If you want to make it fluffier and spreadable, remove it from the fridge and whisk it again with an electric whisk. Work at high speed to incorporate air until the ganache looks light and fluffy 7.

Use the white chocolate ganache to decorate any dessert 8.
