Slightly sweet, Virgin Mojito calls for an exotic and fresh flavor.
Place lime juice in tall tumbler, add brown sugar and mint sprigs.
Crush with pestle, add crushed ice and fill half with tonic water and half with lemon soda.
Stir well, then garnish with a lime wedge and serve chilled. Enjoy!
To crush the ice, wrap the cubes in a cloth and beat them with a meat pounder in order to obtain medium sized flakes.
Non-alcoholic mojito is made with simple ingredients, so choose good quality ones: mint must be fresh and scented, as well as tonic water which must replace white rum.
You can also use simple syrup instead of brown sugar.
You can prepare non-alcoholic mojito without lemon soda, so change the quantities: use 20 ml of lime juice, 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, 200 ml of tonic water, mint leaves and ice for one drink.
For a fruity virgin mojito, crush some strawberries together with mint. You can replace the strawberries with berries, peaches, watermelon, kiwi, oranges or any other fruit you like.
You can also replace tonic water with sparkling water and lemon soda with Ginger Ale to make a non-alcoholic ginger mojito.
