Will Smith had no care for possible backlash from internet trolls when he shared a picture of himself looking much less toned than his dedicated fans remember him from his many blockbuster movie roles.

"I’m gonna be real wit yall – I’m in the worst shape of my life," he wrote to caption the picture.

Although netizens accepted the picture as the actor's way of spreading body confidence, nothing could have prepared them for the actor's most recent post which addressed the sudden appearance of baring photos like that one.

In the new post, Smith can be seen making a victorious pose with his hands on his hips and his belly in full focus as the camera bounces side to side, making it apparent that this glorious state of dad bod will only be temporary.

Via his caption, he hinted at his collaboration with YouTube to document his weight loss journey in readiness for upcoming films, "Bright 2" and "Bad Boys 4," which are sequels to some of his most iconic action star roles.

He wrote:

"This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry. I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!!"

The star left little else information, only leading fans to his production team, Westbrook, and the director/photographer who captured the picture, Aidan Tanner.

Also, it remains uncertain whether the documentation will be hosted on his YouTube channel or if there will be a separate page to document his journey.
