This is the most visually appealing way to serve a creamy dip. Right from the way it is assembled to its taste, the convenience of preparation, and the bright colors, all of this (and much more) makes this spinach dip a must-try recipe!
Remove outer dirty leaves of the cabbage and then remove its curved top. Core cabbage from the center so that you get a deep hollow center that makes it resemble a bowl.
Now, microwave the spinach covered for 3-4 minutes in a microwave-safe bowl. Let it cool slightly. In the meantime, whisk yogurt and mayonnaise together until smooth.
Squeeze the spinach and then add it to the yogurt mixture. Add spring onion, basil, lemon juice and whisk it all well. Pour spinach dip into the prepared cabbage bowl and serve it with vegetable sticks and enjoy!
You can chill the dip slightly before serving. Make sure you core the cabbage carefully and not make it into a very thin shell. Do not add very hot spinach leaves to the yogurt mixture.
