American rapper, Snoop Dogg, has made waves in the entertainment industry as well as many others. He has achieved a lot in all of his endeavors, delving into films as well as being an activist. However, he now has another notch to add to his belt with reports sharing that his very own wine, Snoop Cali Red, is set to debut this summer!
Snoop Dogg is a foodie, and he has shown that in numerous ways. The latest is his winery endeavor with news that his year-long collaboration with Australian wine brand, "19 Crimes," will birth his own wine, "The Snoop Cali Red."
Much like its name hints at, the Snoop Cali Red is red wine, and it is a rich blend of 65 percent Petite Syrah, 30 percent Zinfandel, and 5 percent Merlot.
According to sources, the average cost of each bottle is set to be about $12 when the wine is made available for purchase.
This is no mean feat, and it is one that the ace rapper can be very proud of. A collaboration with 19 Crimes is not for everyone considering that the brand's primary target is honoring the "convicts who helped build Australia."
While Snoop Dogg doesn't belong to that population, the marketing vice president of the Americas for Treasury Wine Estates John Wardley shared that there couldn't be a more perfect fit for the brand's debut in California.
In a public announcement about the upcoming release, Wadley said:
"Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes–rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity."
The wine not only bears Snoop's name, but it also features a label that has Snoop's face on it! Even better, there may be a chance to interact with this label!
Numerous 19 Crimes products feature AR, which means that people featured on the label of the wine like Snoop can talk to consumers.
While there is no specification that it will be the same for the Snoop Cali Red, many fans are looking forward to seeing the futuristic feature!
