Instructions

Start by preparing all the ingredients. Clean the chard thoroughly, removing all the parts that may be damaged. Then cut up the chard rustically and set aside. Peel the onion and slice julienne strips and set aside. Chop the garlic very finely and set aside. Put a cooking pot on medium-high heat and add some water. Add some salt to taste. When the water reaches boiling point add the chard and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Then, when the chard is ready, remove from heat, and drain very well. Set aside the chard. Now place a frying pan on medium heat and pour the extra virgin olive oil. Once the oil is hot add the garlic and cook until browned. Proceed then to add the chopped onion to poach it. Now, when the onion has turned transparent, add the chard to the frying pan. Add the wine. Then turn the heat on low and let the mixture cook and stir constantly to prevent adhesion. Finally season with salt to taste. Once everything is cooked remove the frying pan from the heat. Serve hot and enjoy.
