Who doesn't love pulled pork? The juicy, tender meat always goes down well at a barbecue or picnic, and without a doubt, the best way to serve this mouthwatering meat is to make pulled pork sliders. Whether you're hosting a barbecue or whipping up some tasty eats for your next tailgate or party, pulled pork sliders are the perfect party food.

The smoky, savory flavors of the tender pork topped with crunchy coleslaw on a fluffy bun are hard to resist. What's more, pulled pork sliders are fast and easy to make! Need to feed a large group? This super easy pulled pork slider recipe is a cinch to double or triple up so everyone can head back for seconds!

How to Make Pulled Pork Sliders

Ready to make the tastiest, most succulent pulled pork sliders ever? Gather your ingredients, and let's get started! Start by arranging the bottom halves of your slider buns in a casserole dish. Put about 3 to 4 tablespoons of pulled pork on each bun. Close each slider by placing the top halves of the buns over the pork.

Microwave the butter, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds in a bowl for 30 to 60 seconds, or until melted. Spoon the butter mixture over the sliders, then wrap the casserole dish in foil. Bake the sliders for 10 minutes at 375F. Discard the foil and bake the sliders for another 5 minutes or so.

Take them out of the oven and leave them to cool for a couple of minutes, then top the pulled pork with some coleslaw and other favorite toppings like pickles, peppers, cheese, or anything else you fancy!

Tips for Making Easy Pulled Pork Sliders

You can make everything from scratch or buy pulled pork, coleslaw, and slider buns from your local supermarket.

If you're making things from scratch, you can save time by preparing them a day or two ahead of time.

Instead of regular coleslaw, you can add extra flavor to your sliders by making Asian or Mexican slaw.

Keep your sliders warm by wrapping the baking dish in foil. You can also keep them warm by storing them in an oven set to 150F until they're ready to be served.

Pulled Pork Sliders Variations

If you like your sliders to be a bit saucy, mix about ½ cup of your favorite barbecue sauce into the pulled pork. Add some grilled or fresh pineapple, or cook the pulled pork with pineapple juice to make Hawaiian-style pulled pork sliders. Layer mozzarella, provolone, basil, and sun-dried tomatoes over your pulled pork to make Italian sliders. Love spice? Add fresh or pickled chili peppers, hot sauce, or spicy seasoning mixes to give your pulled pork sliders a blast of heat. Other great toppings include cheese, pickles, roasted red peppers, and grilled onions.

What to Serve with Pulled Pork Sliders

With its ultra-tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture and savory, smoked flavor, pulled pork sliders go so well with all sorts of side dishes. Serve them with any classic barbecue side dishes. Baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, homemade mac and cheese, cornbread, and pasta salad are a few ideas to get you started. Pulled pork sliders are also fantastic with a side of collard greens, crunchy fresh cucumber salad, or a grilled fruit salad.

How to Store Pulled Pork Sliders

For best results, store the different components of the sliders separately to prevent the buns from becoming soggy. However, you can wrap or keep the whole sliders in airtight containers and refrigerate them for up to three days.

Can You Freeze Pulled Pork Sliders?

While freezing whole pulled pork sliders isn't recommended, you can definitely freeze your pulled pork to enjoy later.
