These mini pumpkin-shaped pizzas are so cute! Pizza dough is cut into circles and filled with marinara sauce, pepperoni, and mini mozzarella balls. It’s then sealed and a nifty trick with some string turns the ball into a tiny pumpkin shape.
These little bites are great for serving up at a fall party, and kids will love them. They don’t take long to make, and the ingredients are inexpensive.
Preheat the oven to 400°F/180C/gas mark 6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Roll out pizza dough. Use a 3 ½ or 4-inches cutter to cut out 8 circles of dough.

Place a small amount of marinara sauce in the center of each circle, add 2 pepperoni slices and top with a cube or a ball of mozzarella.
Gently stretching the dough, bring the edges up and over, pressing them together at the top. Try to avoid leaving gaps or tearing the dough for the filling to leak out. Lay the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet.

Wrap each dough ball in a long piece of kitchen twine. Wrap it evenly around the ball to divide it into eight sections.
Brush each ball with the egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and turns golden brown.
Allow the pumpkin rolls to cool for a few minutes, then carefully remove the twine (you’ll need to snip it with scissors). Serve the pumpkin rolls warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
