Pro tips

If you don’t have bacon, you can use any other protein. Smoked salmon, cooked sausage, canned tuna, or leftover rotisserie chicken.

It’s easy to customize this recipe according to your liking. Don’t like bacon, swap it out for something else. Try a different type of cheese, and experiment with different herbs (try thyme, oregano, parsley, or even cilantro).

You can easily make these omelet croissants ahead of time. Simply bake them, allow them to cool, then wrap them tightly in plastic wrap. Add the wrapped croissants to a Ziploc bag and freeze for up to 3 months.

Take them out the night before you want to serve them and allow to thaw in the fridge overnight.

Heat in a low-heat oven (300°F) for about 10 minutes. You can also use the microwave to heat them, but the croissants will lose some of their crispiness.

If you see that the croissants are browning too quickly, before the omelet is cooked, you can cover the omelet croissants loosely with a piece of foil.
