Ingredients

Rolled oats
½ cup
Boiling water
1¼ cups
Salted butter
¼ cup
honey or molasses
¼ cup
Flour
3 cups
Active Dry Yeast
2½ teaspoons
salt
1 teaspoon
Olive oil
½ teaspoon

This is a pretty incredible recipe of bread, which simply tastes out of this world! You would love this quick and fuss free recipe too much to even prevent you from buying any more store-bought bread.

Just follow this simple recipe and enjoy a soft and flavorful slice of healthy bread day after day!

Instructions

In a large bowl, add the rolled oats and then pour boiling water over it. Add the butter and honey to the oats and stir all the ingredients in the bowl until the butter melts. Let the mixture stay in the bowl undisturbed for 5 minutes.

In another bowl, add the flour, active dry yeast, and salt. Add the flour mixture to the oats mixture and knead everything in to a soft dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles.

Punch the dough once to release all the air trapped inside the dough and then put the dough in a greased loaf tin. Let it again rise for another 30 minutes in a warm place or until it doubles in size.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Bake the bread for about 30 minutes or until it turns golden brown on top. Cool slightly, slice, serve, and enjoy!

Tips

Make sure that you knead a soft dough. If required, add a bit more flour to get the right consistency of the dough.
