Lassi is a very common beverage of North India, which can be enjoyed both in sweet and savory form. Mango is the most loved fruit of this country and is used to prepare practically anything with it, from condiments, chutneys, curries, desserts, and lassi (obviously)!
While, all varieties of mango can be used to prepare this very filling and quick drink, “safeda” or “banganapalli” works best to prepare lassi.
Add some spices such as green cardamom powder or fennel powder to make it a bit more appealing. Nevertheless, it tastes great even if consumed as it is!
Blend mango, yogurt, milk, and sugar until smooth in consistency. Pour the lassi into the serving glasses.
Chill and then top it with the cream. Serve cold and enjoy!
You can also add a few ice cubes while blending all the ingredients if you are planning to consume it immediately.
