The kiwi and mint mocktail is a simple and refreshing soft drink perfect for any season. In addition to making a cool drink, you'll also be loading up on vitamin C, which kiwi is rich in. Mint, brown sugar and lime give the drink a flavor similar to the Mojito, and very refreshing. The recipe is very easy: just put all the ingredients in the blender and enjoy it as an aperitif. Perfect also for your non-drinking friends, everyone will like it. Here's how to make it.

How to make Kiwi and Mint Mocktail

Wash the kiwis, peel them and cut them into pieces. Wash the mint leaves and keep them aside.

Put the kiwi chunks in a blender with the lime juice, brown sugar, 250 ml of very cold water and the fresh mint. Blend in jerks.

Pour everything into a pitcher, add the rest of the water and stir.

Your kiwi and mint mocktail is ready to serve. Add a few ice cubes and whole mint leaves, if you prefer.

Tips

– For the preparation of this non-alcoholic mocktail, you will use simple ingredients, so make sure they are of high quality. Kiwis must be ripe but firm. Mint must be fresh and fragrant as well as lime.

– You can replace brown sugar with granulated sugar or honey in the same quantity. On the other hand, lime juice can be replaced with lemon juice. You can also use sparkling water, tonic water or green tea instead of plain water. If you want to make an alcoholic cocktail, instead, replace water with rum.

– To garnish your mocktail, add some kiwi and lime slices before serving.

– If you like alcohol-free drinks, you can also prepare a Virgin Mojito, a variant of the classic cocktail made with tonic water, lime juice and lemon soda.
