Here we share with you the correct way to serve this beverage so that it tastes best for you to enjoy!
Wines are one of the world’s most consumed beverage and a majority of the population end up consuming at least more than a bottle in a week’s time!
An expert, Joe Fattorini, has blown out the traditional way of serving wine ‘out of the water’ with a new theory of serving the red wine briefly chilled and white wine left to warm up before consuming.
He added, that varying the temperatures of the wine could result in the wine to either expand or contract inside the bottle. Thereby, potentially ruining your prized beverage.
The wine connoisseur insisted that the wines should be served at a particular temperature, which is very easy to attain. All you have to do is to follow the 20:20 rule to enjoy the ideal glass of your favorite wine.
As per the 20:20 rule, one should put the bottle of red wine in to the refrigerator 20 minutes before you plan to serve it and the white wine bottle should instead be taken out from the refrigerator 20 minutes before you plan to serve.
He also insisted that we should not expose the wines to variable temperatures and serve the wines too cold or too warm can actually destroy the taste of the expensive beverage.
If susceptible to varying temperature range, wines are prone to expand and contract inside the bottle and may ruin the wine by sucking the air through the cork.
Traditionally wines are stored over racks but Joe advised against keeping them on the racks and insisted on storing the wines in a cool, dark and radiator and window free place instead.
The wine expert with the magazine Good Housekeeping, Alexandra Hale also expanded that the heat plays a major role in speeding up the development in both opened and sealed wines. Which means, placing an opened bottle of wine in the kitchen closer to the hot area such as near the radiator or an oven will deteriorate the wine quickly.
In short, remember to store the wine in a cool and dark place, away from the hot area, windows and radiators, Take out the white wines from the refrigerator 20 minutes before consuming or serving Cool the red wines in the refrigerator for 20 minutes before consuming or serving.
