Lemon Vodka is a classic summer cocktail, simple and easy to prepare in which the refreshing properties of lemonade and the strength of vodka meet: ideal even for novice bartenders. It's a fresh and aromatic long drink that you can make with a slightly alcoholic base for the afternoon, or a more intense one: the doses start from a 1:2 ratio between vodka and lemonade to make a light drink, up to equal parts for a stronger cocktail. The alcohol content is approximately 36.8%, so it is a drink that should be drunk with moderation, whereas the calorie content is about 120 calories per glass. In our recipe we used fresh lemonade, alternatively you can use Lemon Soda. Here's how to make it!
Lemon Vodka Cocktail is made directly in a highball glass or in a large tumbler. Put 6-7 ice cubes in the glass, pour in the vodka, lemonade and mix with a bar spoon. Finally, garnish with a slice of lemon and add a few mint leaves, if you prefer. Serve and enjoy!
To prepare 1.5 liters of fresh lemonade, squeeze 5-6 lemons with a citrus press, strain it and put it in a bowl. Add 70 grams of sugar and mix, then pour 1 liter of water and continue mixing. Pour into a carafe or bottle and use it for your cocktail or drink it very cold by adding ice, as a summer drink.
You can also use berries to garnish. Before pouring the vodka, you can crush a few leaves of mint or sage on the bottom, so the lemon vodka cocktail will be more aromatic.
If you want to give a bitter aftertaste to your lemon vodka, add 2 parts of Schweppes Lemon.
Those who love vodka-based cocktails can also make a very fresh Caipiroska, a colorful and delicious Sex on the beach or a Moscow mule to be served with a slice of cucumber or ginger.
