This recipe is by far the most flavorful, soft and fluffy fritter recipe you will ever come across. A mix of fresh and flavorful herbs gives this dish such an aromatic kick that cannot be otherwise achieved easily.
These fritters taste wonderful either served hot or even if consumed at room temperature. Not to forget the delightful lemon dip that gives this preparation a delicious tangy kick that just makes the entire combination oh so wonderful.
In a bowl add flour and salt. Carefully crack open the eggs in to the flour mix. Pour the beer in to the same bowl add top it with the chopped herbs. Whisk everything well until the entire mixture is evenly combined.
Let the batter stand for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, and hot sauce until it is evenly blended.
Keep it aside until use.
Heat oil for frying in a pan. Now, add a few teaspoons full of the batter at a distance of about 2 inches from one another in to the hot oil and let it fry until golden brown on both sides.
Repeat the process with the remaining batter you get crisp and golden fritters. Serve hot herb fritters with lemon dip and enjoy!
Make sure you move your hands in only one direction while you whisk or blend the ingredients. In case you use hand blender/whisk, again make sure that the gadget moves in one circular direction only. Instead of adding beer, you may also add ½ a cup of water and ½ a teaspoon of baking powder to the batter. Make sure that you carefully remove the egg shells while you break the egg. A wiser technique would be to break the egg in a separate bowl first and then use that broken egg for the recipe.
