The Hawaiian cake is a delicious and simple dessert to prepare, ideal for breakfast or a snack or to be served as an after dinner dessert. The dessert will be made with 00 type flour, coconut flour, sugar, eggs, pineapple in syrup, seed oil, chopped walnuts and baking powder. All the ingredients will be mixed in a single bowl without a mixer, to make the preparation really fast. Once ready, you will get a very soft and delicious cake, to be enjoyed with a sprinkling of icing sugar or accompanied by a tuft of whipped cream. So let’s see how to prepare it soft and fragrant.

How to prepare the Hawaiian cake

Put the sifted flour and baking powder 1, sugar and coconut flour in a large bowl and mix 2. Then add the eggs, yogurt, pieces of pineapple and mix them with the powders. Also add the seed oil and the chopped walnuts, continuing to mix until you will have obtained a homogeneous mixture 3.

Pour the mixture into a 22cm diameter buttered and floured mold 4 and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees C for about 30 minutes; always do the toothpick test to make sure that the cake is also cooked inside. Once ready, take the cake out of the oven 5, let it cool well and then remove it from the mold. Your Hawaiian cake is ready to be enjoyed with a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Preservation

You can preserve the Hawaiian cake for 2-3 days under a glass bell jar or inside an airtight container.
