How to Make Grapefruit Bars

Preheat your oven to 350F. Place two pieces of parchment paper across one another over a baking pan, making sure to leave some overhang. Set aside.

Combine sugar and butter until light and airy.

Beat in flour and salt to form a dough.

Press the dough into the baking pan to form an even layer.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Take the pan out of the oven and set it on a wire rack to cool.

Place the eggs in a bowl.

Add and whisk the sugar until it dissolves.

Beat in the flour.

Add the grapefruit zest.

Pour in the grapefruit juice.

Whisk until combined.

Pour the grapefruit mixture over the crust.

Bake the grapefruit bars for 18 to 20 minutes or until the filling has set.

Remove from the oven to cool completely.

Use the parchment paper to lift it out of the pan. Dust powdered sugar on top.

Slice into several bars.

Serve and enjoy!
