German apple cake: a must try apple and walnut cake recipe

Powdered white sugar
¾ cup

3 large, peeled and chopped

100g low fat , softened to room temperature, for topping
Salted butter
2 teaspoons , softened to room temperature, for topping
White sugar
¾ cup powdered, for topping

This is the most perfect recipe that combines the yummiest fruit and nut combination with the warm flavors of cinnamon! To top it all, you will be delighted to marry the soft and delicious slice of cake with the lovely and creamy frosting.

In short, you simply cannot resist having it, so bake it right away!

Instructions

Lightly grease a baking dish or a loaf pan and then lightly dust the baking pan with some flour. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C.

Crack open the eggs in a bowl. Add the powdered sugar, oil, and vanilla to the eggs and then beat it all until nice and fluffy in consistency.

Stir in flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, apples, walnuts, and mix everything until well combined. Pour the cake batter in to the prepared baking dish.

Bake the cake at 175 degrees C for about 50 minutes or until the cake turns golden brown at the top. You can also check the doneness of the cake by inserting a toothpick at the center.

Meanwhile, whip the cream cheese until smooth and creamy in consistency. Beat in butter and powdered white sugar until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
