Eggs and red meat contain a polyunsaturated fatty acid known as arachidonic acid that can result in psoriatic lesions. So, one should avoid red meat, beef, bacon, sausage, processed red meats, and eggs.

People with psoriasis are usually sensitive to gluten, and consuming foods containing gluten can flare up this condition. Foods that one should avoid are wheat and wheat products, barley, rye, malt, sauces and condiments containing gluten, beer, malt beverages, processed foods containing gluten, and baked products containing wheat.
