70 ml (1/4 cup)
Milk
500 ml (2 cups)
Sugar
10 g (3/4 tbsp)
fresh yeast
10 g (1 tbsp)
Flour 00
250 g (2 cups)
Manitoba flour
250 g (2 cups)
salt
15 g (3/4 tbsp)
Oil
Sesame seeds
for the filling
Ham
Cream Cheese
salad
Extra virgin olive oil
salt

How To Make Focaccia Sandwich

In a bowl, add the extra virgin olive oil, milk, sugar, and fresh yeast and mix until the sugar and yeast dissolve.

In another bowl, add the flour.

Gradually add the yeast mixture.

Mix with the electric mixer until the dough is created. Add the salt and mix again.

Transfer the dough to the pan covered with parchment paper, and flatten it with a spatula.

Allow the dough to rise for two hours, or until doubled in volume.

Once the focaccia dough has risen, brush the focaccia with the oil and sprinkle the sesame seeds.

Bake in the oven at 180°C/360°F for 35 minutes.

Use a sharp bread knife to slice the focaccia in half. Spread the bottom slice with cream cheese. Place the ham and salad leaves on top of the cream cheese, and season with olive oil and salt.
