These incredible-tasting dairy free brownies are an ideal dessert if you've been hunting for an easy chocolatey treat without dairies you can make at home. Lightly crispy on the outside, with a rich, chewy, fudgy interior, these brownies are so tasty, even folks who eat dairy will want to whip up a batch.

This recipe looks similar to classic brownies, but here we replaced butter with olive oil. This version has also a slightly different mixing method that calls for mixing the eggs separately before folding them into the other ingredients as opposed to using a single bowl. It's key to getting that perfectly crisp crust on the top of the brownies. If you love fudgy, soft brownies (and really, who doesn't?) this olive oil brownie recipe made without dairies is for you.

Tips For Making the Best Dairy Free Brownies

Extra virgin olive oil is definitely the way to go for this recipe. It's higher quality than regular olive oil and will give a much better flavor, a little bit fruity yet bitter which balances . If you don't want to use it, you can replace it with another vegetable oil.

Don't overmix the batter – if you do, the brownies will wind up dense.

For a shortcut, you can even use a dairy free brownie boxed mix such as the Duncan Hines.

Enjoy these brownies on their own or serve them with a scoop of your favorite dairy-free ice cream.

You can customize your olive oil brownies as you want by adding chopped walnuts, pecans or dairy free chocolate chips.
