Creamy Parmesan rice: a different and special recipe

Ingredients

Rice
2 cups
Water
3 ⅓ cups
Cream
200 ml
Onion

You probably have rice as a side dish for lunch, but sometimes when it is always prepared in the same way, it can become routine and boring. With creamy parmesan rice you will be able to serve rice with a twist. This recipe gives the rice a gourmet aspect with the intense flavor of parmesan cheese and the soft texture of the cream. With the amazing flavor of sauté garlic and onions I suggest you serve it with a touch of fresh parsley. You can serve it as always, but this version will make your meal different and special. Try to prepare it and surprise your family.

 

 Instructions

  • Firstly, prepare all the ingredients.
  • Remove impurities from rice and wash it very well.
  • Peel the garlic cloves, chop it very finely and set aside.
  • Peel the onion, chop it and set aside.
  • Now grate the cheese and set aside.

  • Finally, chop the fresh parsley finely and set aside.
  • Now to start the preparation, boil 3 cups of water. Put a large cooking pot on medium heat.
  • Add the oil. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and the onion previously chopped. Sauté everything for about 1 minute.
  • Proceed to add the rice and stir very well in order to mix everything homogeneously.
  • When the rice is mixed in with the sauté garlic, onion and carrot proceed to add the hot water.

  • Stir everything to have it well mixed. Once the mixture is boiling, turn the heat to low and cover the cooking pot.
  • Cook everything until the rice is ready. It will take about 20 minutes.
  • Now add the cream and the grated cheese to the rice, keeping it on heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir everything to mix well. Cook for 1 additional minute.
  • Remove from the heat. To finish I suggest you add fresh parsley to taste before serve. Serve hot. Enjoy your unique rice.
