Berries and cream is definitely a classic combination. And it comes together beautifully in these Creamy Berry Tortilla Roll-Ups! It’s a super easy dessert recipe and you don’t need a lot of ingredients. It’s perfect for making for unexpected guests, or even just for yourself if you have a craving.
You’ll need a few tortillas, a tub of cream cheese, a few berries, cinnamon, and sugar. Make a filling, roll the tortillas, fry, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. The result? A crunchy, crispy outside, with a sweet, creamy filling. Just want you to get a sweet fix! You’ll want to make this again and again!
Start by making the filling. Mix together the cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, and berries and mix through. Place the filling in the center of the tortilla. You can warm the tortilla for a few seconds in the microwave to make it more pliable. Secure the roll up with a toothpick. This will prevent the filling from spilling out.
Fry the tortillas in medium-hot oil until golden. Cover with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Use Philadelphia cream cheese for best results!
If you don’t have fresh berries, you can also use fruits preserves or jam.
You can also use other fruits: banana, pineapple, strawberries, or even peaches.
Serve the Berry Pinwheels with fresh berries, whipped cream, and a drizzle of honey. Or you can serve it with ice cream and a drizzle of maple syrup.
The Berry Pinwheels can also be made in the Airfryer. Place the roll ups in the Airfryer basket, and cook for 6 minutes at 320°F, turning halfway.
Don’t feel like a cinnamon sugar sprinkle? You can also drizzle the tortillas with melted white chocolate or caramel.

Make sure to use an oil suitable for frying at higher temperatures (like canola, peanut, sunflower, or corn oil). Don’t make your oil too hot, otherwise the roll-ups will burn easily. The oil temperature should be at about 350°F.
