This dessert is one of my favorites, it is a mixture of very contrasting and exotic flavors, the tangerine has that complicity between the sweet and the bitter, and joins the crispy from nuts and creamy from chocolate, turning this recipe into a jewel of the confectionery. This is a wonderful dessert that perfectly serves to the end of a plenty meal, because it is not cloying and is very light, and it is also perfect to serve at the candy table of any event. Its preparation is simple and fast enough not to despair and its ingredients are very easy to purchase. This rich recipe will fascinate you. Go for it!

Instructions

For the tarts

Crush in a food processor the walnuts, to obtain about 3 tbsp. In a bowl add the flour, sugar, cocoa and crushed walnut, and mix. Proceed to add the butter and mix very well. Then add the butter and water, and mix until you obtain a humid and crumbly dough. Transfer the dough to a plane surface. Use two 4 in, round or heart shape, baking tray with removable bottom.

Divide the dough in 2 halves and proceed to place them in the tray following this procedure: with the fingers previously floured, press the dough to the bottom and sides of the trays. Then cut the excess dough from all the edge. Puncture the dough with a fork. Proceed to freeze and preheat the oven to 180°C/350 ° F. After 15 minutes retire from the freezer and cover the tart with wax paper and bake for 20 minutes. Retire from the oven and carefully remove the paper. Return to the oven until the tarts dry and harden (5 to 8 minutes). Remove from the oven and let cool.

For the filling

In a bowl proceed to add the condensed milk, ½ tsp grated tangerine zest, tangerine juice, lemon juice and the 2 egg yolks, and mix. Once all the ingredients are incorporated, pour the mixture over the tarts. Proceed to bake for about 12 min. Place the tarts on a rack to cool. Before serving remove the tarts from the trays, and proceed to decorate with whipped cream and shavings or curls of chocolate, zest or tangerine rinds as you prefer.
