½ teaspoon
Garlic cloves
4 large , peeled and finely grated

2 tablespoons
Brown sugar

Brown sugar chicken is an extremely flavorful preparation with crunchy caramel-y bite. This quick to prepare dish smells divine and needs just a few ingredients to assemble.

In fact, this is quite a dish that you can prepare for some unexpected guests. Increase the amount of butter by another tablespoon or more for buttery and juicier chicken texture.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 225 degrees C and prepare a baking tray by lining it with foil or parchment paper. Clean and pound the chicken to an even thickness. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper on all sides. In a small pan, heat the butter with garlic until the butter melts.

Add the brown sugar to garlic and butter mixture and cook it for another 15 seconds or until the sugar starts to boil. Add the Italian seasoning and stir everything well. Now, coat the seasoned chicken pieces with this brown sugar sauce and then place it on the prepared baking tray.

Cook the chicken for about 15 minutes at 225 degrees C or until the chicken cooks from the inside. Garnish with cilantro, serve, and enjoy!

Tips

You may also increase the amount of butter in this dish if desired. Use any seasoning of your choice or chives in this recipe.
