Apple cider vinegar is made from apples and after undergoing fermentation this delicious fruit turns in to a liquid medicine! Here are the 16 uses of this product with myriad benefits.
Digestion. ACV aids in digestion as it boosts the production of acids in the stomach.
Pickling. ACV can be used to prepare some really delicious (and some times healthy) pickles. Just remember to not add it to the pickles where fermentation is required as it works against the fermenting elements.
Dressing. It adds amazing flavor to the marinades and delicious salads.
Tooth whitener. Mix some baking soda with little ACV and apply the foamy mixture on your teeth to whiten them.
Fights bad breath. Rinse your mouth with a tablespoon of ACV to counter this problem. The acetic acid present in apple cider vinegar acts against bacteria present in the mouth and cures bad breath.
Healthy hair. 2 tablespoons of ACV when mixed with about 8 ounces of water works wonderfully well to revitalize the scalp, detangle hair strands, and turns your mane shinier.
Skin toner. Use it as a skin toner to help balance pH of the skin, remove excess oil from the surface of the skin, and it also helps to avoid acne eruption as it restricts the bacterial growth over the epidermal layer.
Treat fungal growth. Apple cider vinegar has anti fungal properties, which is beneficial particularly for candida in the oral cavity. Apart from that, soaking your feet in a dilution of little ACV and water is beneficial to treat the fungus infected toenails and feet.
Clean home. A mixture of ACV and baking soda is an all purpose cleaner that can be used to clean any place of your home.
Avoid flies. A mixture of ACV, water, and dish washing liquid can be kept anywhere in your house (at the entrance, kitchen, near the window, etc.) to keep away the fruit flies.
Prepare vegan buttermilk. Add a teaspoon of ACV to a liter of any vegan milk (such as almond, hemp, soy). After 5 minutes it will turn into a plant based buttermilk.
Poach eggs. Add ACV to the water in which you plan to poach eggs. You will see the egg whites turning firm much more quickly.
To improve health. ACV has been associated with improved insulin sensitivity, reduce body weight, inflammation, and cholesterol levels.
Improve flavors. ACV, when added to braising vegetables and meats, adds lovely tanginess to the preparation. Adding a tablespoon or more of ACV to the bone, water, and spice mix while cooking the bone broth helps to release the minerals and other nutrients present in the bones of the preparing broth.
Weed repellant. Spray a mix of ACV and water over the garden weeds to use it as a natural weed killer.
Remove pet fleas. Apply a mix of equal quantities ACV and water over the dog fur. It is beneficial to get rid of the dog fleas. A word of caution, please check if your pet is sensitive to this mixture.
