1/2, chopped
Shaved Parmesan Cheese
1 cup

Whether it's lunch and you are looking for an easy and delicious sandwich recipe or it's dinner time and you need an appetizer or side dish recipe, hot salami baguettes are the answer! With just a few ingredients, you will something to eat that is toasty and tasty. Here we recommend using parmesan as the cheese on the baguette but we have found that mozzarella works great as well. These baguettes are best prepared and eaten in the same day to ensure the bread does not go stale so only make them when you are ready to eat!

Slice the baguette into 5 to 6 even pieces then cut each slice lengthwise.
Spread butter across the top of each baguette and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Evenly distribute the salami on the bread.

Top with the shaved parmesan cheese
Place the top and bottom of each piece of baguette together to make a sandwich.
Bake in a 350 ̊F oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Eat while hot!

Tips

  • For smaller, appetizer sized sandwiches, place salami and cheese of the tops and bottoms of the bread and serve open faced
  • Add roasted garlic to the sandwich for extra flavor.
